A Fresh Start

The reason I decided to start this new "THE BALL STATE BUZZ" blog is because I think as a journalist, I owe it to my blog readers to continue my writing. I will not rule out an attempt to write for the Ball State Daily News (Ball State's official newspaper), but for the time being I would like to stay on the web. I've tried to fit in with the sports writers at the Ball State Daily News, but were unsuccessful so I will continue writing through "THE BALL STATE BUZZ".

The summer of high-flying dirt track racing ended for me, when I transferred to Ball State University from Indiana State University this Fall semester. I am adapting well to my new surrounding. I transferred to BSU, to better my education. No offense to any journalism majors at ISU, but in my opinion BSU has a better Communications department than ISU does.

Like I said earlier, I really didn't fit in with the writers at the Ball State Daily News, so I will try again next year. This is more of a blogged column. Each day of the week, after I get done with my classes, I will come up with a new topic to blog about for the day. There will be no guarantees for a blog post each of the five days out of the week, because my schedule gets very busy sometimes. I will make every effort possible to come up with a news topic to blog about for each day.

I would like to thank you the readers for taking some time out to read my columns each day, and I look forward to sharing my views with you.
